Work

EduAI Lab, technical lead, summer 2026I reviewed a six-student team's code at UBC Okanagan.

I owned integration and code review across the lab's apps. I cut the open issues down to what could ship, reproduced bugs, checked permissions and migrations, and re-checked fixes before approving. From July 1 to 22, 2026, I submitted 124 reviews across 63 pull requests.

On HelpMe, I designed and built LANTERN: four AI agents for nursing education, each with its own prompt, documents and settings, all controlled by instructors from one course.

AI Tutor Harness, my researchI pressure AI tutors to give away answers for six turns, then read every draft.

A simulated student pushes for the answer for up to six turns. A supervisor model reviews each draft and sends leaks back. I record every draft and label, so I can read a failure instead of just counting it.

In my 900-conversation study, the review loop cut conversations with a leak from 27.0% to 17.8%. In my later 8,538-conversation study, leakage fell from 12.9% to 2.7%, roughly a 79% relative drop. An automated judge produced those labels on partly synthetic conversations, and less leakage doesn't prove students learn more.

Stavan, my handwriting fontI made a font from 675 pages of my lecture notes.

I extracted 286,273 Apple Pencil strokes from my GoodNotes notes and made a free handwriting font, a code font, a pen-plotter font and a tool that replays text in my original strokes. Every red and blue note on this page is drawn from them.

Config Agent, DxFactor, summer 2025I built an agent that turns a gym's onboarding spreadsheet into admin API calls.

It reads multi-sheet Excel onboarding files, finds the right admin APIs by searching their docs, sends each request, and saves its progress so a failed step can be retried without starting over.

It loads only what each step needs, a pattern now commonly called skills.

How I work

I run my coding agents in T3 Code. I write the brief, then read the diff and run the tests before I accept a change. They keep a logbook.
